Wednesday 4 September 2013 / 6pm
WNMU Global Resource Center

Tickets $25 available now via GMCR.org and PayPal and at both Alotta Gelato and Gila Hike & Bike in Beautiful Downtown Silver City.

And Remember…

You’re not buying a ticket,
You’re buying your very own radio station!

We have to move quickly to match the $10,000 pledge from those nice ladies Janey Katz & Suzi Calhoun.  So go wild!  Throw down for Community Radio and keep us on schedule for FM broadcast this fall!  We’re more than halfway there!  A sellout will complete our match!!!

GMCR presents an exclusive screening of the award winning film based on the book by Democracy Now! & The Nation correspondent Jeremy Scahill from IFC Films.

Dirty Wars is the new and acclaimed documentary from Democracy Now! and The Nation investigative reporter, Jeremy Scahill.  It examines the continuing secret war on terror, the ever expanding policy of drone warfare, civilian casualties, signature strikes, failed intelligence, and the targeting and assassination of US citizens without charge, trial or due process. Jeremy drills down to the bottom of this subject just as he did in his extensive coverage of Blackwater during the Iraq War.

How Do You Surrender To A Drone? is a recent speaking appearance at The Sanctuary where he addresses a packed house on US drone policy in Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia and an increasing list of countries.

Help us fill the house for this crucial fundraiser
to match our $10,000 pledge!

We would also like to acknowledge and express our appreciation for the support we’ve received from our event sponsors…
